Lower Makefield Township Police Reports – May 8 2026 – May 15 2026

5/15/26
Fraud – 3000 block of Sterling Rd. reported at 7:09 p.m. Complainant reported contacting a company to replace their windows. They received an email requesting $12,450.00 to be wired from who they believed to be the window company. After wiring the money and contacting the company, they advised they never requested or received the payment.

5/14/26
Drug Arrest – Rt. 332 & Stony Hill Rd. reported at 10:34 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 23 year old female passenger from Camden, NJ for Possession of Psilocybin, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken into police custody.

Retail Theft– 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s Food Market reported at 2:22 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown person(s) removed two plants from outside the store without paying.

Credit Card Fraud – 300 block of Cobbler Ct. reported at 9:45 a.m. Complainant reported being approached by two unknown males in a pick-up truck in the BJ’s parking lot located in Falls Township. They notified the victim that their vehicle’s bumper was damaged and they could fix it. After agreeing, the victim gave them two credit cards to charge, which the men claimed declined. The victim then paid cash. Following this incident, the victim was contacted by their bank stating there were two attempted charges totaling $1,500.00. When checking their other bank, there were $9,985.00 worth of pending charges. Investigation ongoing.

Identity Theft – 2300 block of Lynnbrooke Dr. reported at 12:01 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) attempted to open an AAA and Ross credit card in their name.

Theft – 300 block of Dunhill Way reported at 1:40 p.m. Complainant reported theft of package valued at $50,000.00. Investigation ongoing.

5/12/26
Fraud:

2000 block of Farmview Dr. reported at 9:09 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a suspicious pop-up on their computer claiming to be from “Microsoft Windows Defense.” They were advised to call a phone number for “Microsoft”. The representative stated that the victim’s computer was malfunctioning and that they needed to pay a penalty fee to avoid being taken into custody. The victim was instructed to withdraw $29,800.00 and provide it to a “special agent” who arrived at their residence. The victim later realized they were a victim of fraud and reported the incident to the police. Investigation ongoing.

Unit block of Del Rio Dr. reported at 2:20 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) purchased two iPads using their Sam’s Club and Wells Fargo accounts. One iPad was delivered to their residence and another was delivered to an address in California. Total loss $962.29.

Wanted Person – Washington Crossing Rd. & Stoopville Rd. reported at 10:46 p.m. Police responded to a check the well being of a subject. A records check revealed the 49 year old male from Philadelphia, PA was wanted by the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office for Simple Assault. He was taken into police custody.

5/11/26
Retail Theft – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s Food Market reported at 3:40 p.m. Store Manager reported on 5/10, an unknown male entered the store and removed $65.70 worth of merchandise without paying.

Retail Theft – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS reported at 11:00 a.m. Employee reported unknown male entered the store, selected several Mother’s Day balloons and cards, went through self-checkout and only rang up $4.00 worth of items.

Criminal Trespass Arrest – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s Food Market reported at 12:49 p.m. Police responded to the report of an unwanted subject that was previously trespassed from the store. Police made contact with the 45 year old female from LMT at her home and took her into custody for Criminal Trespass.

5/9/26
Weapons Arrest – Heacock Rd. & Heritage Oak Dr. reported at 4:56 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a firearm, which the 35 year old female driver from Morrisville, PA did not have a permit for. The firearm was confiscated and she was advised to renew her permit to carry in order to retrieve her firearm or she would be charged. Charges pending.

Fraud – 300 block of Rowantree Cir. reported at 1:15 p.m. Complainant reported on two different occasions, unknown person(s) removed a total of 71,420 airline miles from their American Airline credit card
