Lower Makefield Township Police Reports April 26, 2024 – May 2, 2024
5/2/2024 – Weapons Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 8:55AM. Police on patrol received an LPR alert for a vehicle that was stolen during an armed robbery in Bristol Borough on 5/1. The vehicle was also involved in a shooting in Mercer County, NJ using a high-capacity magazine handgun. Police conducted a felony traffic stop on the vehicle. A handgun and a high-capacity magazine drum were located in the vehicle. It was determined that the vehicle was registered to the male driver, but he failed to notify police of its recovery. The 19 year old male from Bensalem, PA was taken into police custody. He was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and sent to BCCF in lieu of $75,000/10% bail. He was charged with Carrying a Firearm Without a License.
5/2/2024 – Fraud – 200 block of S. Fieldstone Ct. reported at 9:42 a.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC in August 2023 to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.
5/2/2024 – Fraud – 300 block of S. Fieldstone Ct. reported at 9:42 a.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. Multiple checks were cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.
5/2/2024 -Theft – Chase Rd. & Twining Rd. reported at 4:06 p.m. Complainant reported while taking a break from soliciting for Aptive Environmental, unknown person(s) stole their Segway.
4/30/2024 – Fraud – 1500 block of Stapler Dr. reported at 9:06 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a pop up on their computer advising them to contact Microsoft. After giving remote access to who they believed to be a Microsoft representative, over $106,000.00 was removed from their account.
4/30/2024 – Fraud – 300 block of Cinnabar Ln. reported at 9:50 a.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC in December 2023 to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.
4/30/2024- Retail Theft – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at Fine Wine & Good Spirits reported at 12:46 p.m. General Manager reported that on 4/27, unknown male entered the store, concealed a bottle of Remy Martin Cognac champagne, and left without paying.
4/26/2024 – Fraud – 1500 block of Applewood Cir. reported at 2:38 p.m. Complainant reported sending $3,000 via Zelle to someone claiming to be an attorney.
4/26/2024 – Fraud – 1900 block of Berrel Ct. reported at 3:14 p.m. Complainant reported being a victim of a cryptocurrency scam where they invested $450,000 in total.
4/26/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 8:00 p.m. Store Manager reported three unknown person(s) removed $603.47 worth of merchandise without paying. They were stopped by the manager and fled without taking the cart.
