Lower Makefield Township Police Reports – Dec 5 2025 – Dec 18 2025

12/18/2025
Burglary – 100 block of W. Ferry Rd. reported at 12:05 p.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary, not in progress, at the location. Further investigation revealed unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence via a side door and removed jewelry. Investigation ongoing.

Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 1:40 p.m. Loss Prevention reported three females and one male actively concealing merchandise in bags near the fitting rooms. Officers staged nearby and received information that the suspects arrived in a gray Honda Odyssey with New Jersey registration, which was located parked near the front of the store with a male driver inside. A male juvenile matching the provided description exited the store and entered the vehicle. Officers conducted an investigative stop of the vehicle and detained the occupants. In plain view on the rear seat were a black backpack and a black duffel bag, which Loss Prevention advised were used to stash merchandise. During the investigation, multiple items of store merchandise were recovered from the male juvenile’s jacket pockets, and it was confirmed that the clothing he was wearing had not been purchased. The registered owner of the vehicle, and mother of the two juveniles, was detained inside the store along with her juvenile daughter. She provided consent to search the vehicle. The bags were found to contain numerous items of clothing with retail tags, confirmed by Loss Prevention to be stolen from the store. Additional merchandise from another retail location in Falls Twp. was also recovered. In total, $493.61 worth of merchandise was removed from Kohl’s without paying by the adult females and juvenile male and female. A records check revealed the 50 year old male driver from Warminster, PA was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriffs. He was taken into police custody and turned over to the Bucks County Sheriffs. The 44 year old female from Trenton, NJ was charged with Retail Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Corruption of Minors. The 36 year old female from Trenton, NJ was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. They were arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Fraud– 500 block of Aspen Woods Dr. reported at 10:00 a.m. Complainant reported a neighbor was contacted by an unknown suspect claiming to be from Apple regarding a fraudulent charge. The neighbor was instructed to involve a third party to transfer funds. Two Venmo transactions totaling $4,994.00 were sent and later transferred as directed. The suspect promised a refund that did not occur.

DUI Arrest – Taylorsville Rd. & I-295 reported at 11:40 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 42 year old female driver from Morrisville, PA for Driving Under the Influence. She was taken into police custody.

12/13/2025
Fraud – 900 block of Baron Dr. reported at 11:05 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from who they believed to be their bank. The victim provided all of their personal information to the caller before realizing it was a scam.

12/12/2025
DUI Arrest – Oxford Valley Rd. & Regency Blvd. reported at 8:55 p.m. Police on patrol observed a vehicle idling in the left turn lane at the location. Upon approach, police observed an open can of White Claw in the cupholder, the male driver sleeping in the backseat with the vehicle in neutral, and a dog in the backseat. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 40 year old male from LMT for Driving Under the Influence.

Identity Theft – Unit block of Fairway Dr. reported at 3:33 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name and attempted to charge $5,000.

Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 5:06 p.m. Loss Prevention reported separate thefts by the same individuals on 6/1 and 12/8. They removed $403.23 worth of merchandise without paying. Investigation ongoing.

Theft – 2200 block of Stackhouse Dr. reported at 4:51 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) removed a stroller from their driveway.

Burglary – 1200 block of Edgewood Rd. reported at 11:13 a.m. Complainant reported on 12/5, at approximately 1:30 p.m., two pick up trucks pulled onto the property, forced entry into the garage and removed $15,000 worth of tools. Investigation ongoing.

Drug Arrest – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. reported at 3:55 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of Methamphetamine. The 44 year old male from Morrisville, PA to be summonsed for Possession of Crystal Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

12/5/2025
Fraud– 1300 block of Apple Blossom Dr. reported at 3 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a message on PayPal from an unknown person advising them to send money to avoid charges from the Department of Justice. The victim was instructed to withdraw money and meet an unknown person to exchange it. The victim withdrew $10,000 and met an unknown male and provided him with the cash. Investigation ongoing.

Lower Bucks municipalities have declared disaster/snow emergencies in advance of the expected snow storm that the National Weather Service says will dump anywhere between 14 to 18 inches on the area.

A winter storm warning is still in effect from Sunday, Feb 22 to Monday, Feb 23.

Soliciting Without Permit – Homestead Dr. & Wrightfield Ave. reported at 3:39 p.m. Complainant reported solicitor for Victory Home Remodeling soliciting without a permit. He was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.

Retail Permit – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 3:35 p.m. Loss Prevention reported on 1/31, two unknown males entered the store and removed $1,235.14 worth of alcohol without paying. Investigation ongoing.

Disorderly Conduct – Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 11:55 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. The 19 year old male from Levittown, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Theft – 300 block of Denny Dr. reported at 8:24 a.m. Complainant reported theft of their license plate.

Soliciting Without Permit – 300 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 1:45 p.m. Complainant reported male soliciting for PECO without a permit.

Fraud:

700 block of Township Line Rd. at Jubilant Pharma reported at 2:15 p.m. Complainant reported one of their merchants advised their accounts had been compromised and provided a different account number for an $82,368 payment. It was later discovered that the merchant’s account was hacked and the money was wired to an unknown account.
1400 block of Windrow Ln. reported at 3:50 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft advising that their account was compromised and they needed to send $24,950 to catch the individual responsible. The individual realized this was a scam before sending money.

Fraud – 100 block of Ovington Rd. reported at 7:51 p.m. Complainant reported sending $700 to unknown person believing their child had been arrested.

Credit Card Fraud – 22000 block of Cornerstone Dr. reported at 5:28 p.m. Complainant reported known person used their credit card without permission. Investigation ongoing.

Disorderly Conduct– Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 11:34 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. A 21 year old male passenger and a 22 year old male passenger from Trenton, NJ were cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Fraud – Unit block of W. Ferry Rd. reported at 5:49 p.m. Complainant reported hiring USARoofMasters.com to repair their home after a hailstorm in April 2023. A check in the amount of $10,083.54 was sent to the insurance company but work was never performed and they are not responding to phone calls or emails.

Credit Card Fraud:

200 block of Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 9:42 a.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $131.40.
Unit block of Edgewood Rd. reported at 9:50 a.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $1,300.00.

Disorderly Conduct– Oxford Valley Rd. & Big Oak Rd. reported at 12:00 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. The 26 year old female driver from Lawrence, NJ was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Criminal Trespass – 500 block of S. Dove Rd. reported at 2:47 p.m. Complainant reported known person, who was previously trespassed from the property, was seen on surveillance carrying items that were stored in the shed. The 28 year old female from Philadelphia, PA was summonsed for Defiant Trespass and Loitering & Prowling.

Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 3:15 p.m. Police responded to the Kohl’s Dept. Store for the report of a Retail Theft. Loss Prevention reported that a unknown subject selected nine (9) Fitbit watches and subsequently left the establishment without paying for said items. Total value of items taken was $1,439.91. ***UPDATE*** With the assistance of video surveillance footage and pawn shop records, Detectives were able to positively identify a 23 year old male from Orlando, FL as the individual involved in the theft. A Felony Arrest warrant was issued for the male on 1/28/2026.

Attempted Fraud – 900 block of Baron Dr. reported at 2:46 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office stating their family member was arrested and needed to be bailed out. The complainant realized this was a scam and disconnected the phone call.

Attempted Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 4:13 p.m. Loss Prevention reported observing an unknown female on live CCTV concealing merchandise. When she was approached by Loss Prevention, she left the cart and fled in a vehicle. The value of the concealed merchandised was $321.31. Investigation ongoing.

Credit Card Fraud– 400 block of Lenape Ln. reported at 1:02 p.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $740.33.

Drug Arrest – Rt. 332 & Stony Hill Rd. reported at 11:01 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of Oxycodone and Marijuana. The 51 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA was arrested for Possession of Oxycodone and the 49 year old male passenger from Philadelphia, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Identity Theft – 1300 block of Brentwood Rd. reported at 12:04 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their passport to pick up a cell phone that they purchased.

Wanted Person – 1700 block of Dobry Rd. reported at 11:22 p.m. Police received an LPR hit for a Wanted Person. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male driver from Morrisville, PA. He was wanted by Bucks County for Failure To Appear. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into police custody.

Fraud – Unit block of Beechwood Ln. reported at 9:41 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their PayPal account to purchase tickets for a San Francisco 49er’s game.

Wanted Person – Oxford Valley Rd. & Mill Rd. reported at 10:25 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 55 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA was wanted out of Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

Drug Arrest – Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 4:32 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana. The 19 year old male passenger from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Buyers Beware: Thieves Are Using Social Media to Sell Stolen Vehicles, Cops Say

Police across the commonwealth are warning consumers looking to purchase vehicles online about an uptick in reports in which thieves are using social media based sites to sell stolen vehicles.

Police departments across Pennsylvania are seeing an uptick of cases in which criminals are using channels like Facebook Marketplace to sell stolen vehicles, often with counterfeit titles or falsified paperwork, law enforcement officials say.

At least one investigator reported, investigators say, that of the vehicles recovered, almost none of them exhibit signs of tampering or damage.

Be cautious and help protect yourself:

Verify Vehicle History: Always check the vehicle identification number (VIN) and run a full vehicle history report.
Avoid Cash-Only Transactions: Use traceable payment methods and meet sellers in safe, public locations.
Inspect Carefully: Look for signs of tampering and never buy a car without confirming its ownership and documentation.

And always remember, authorities say, if something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts. Stay alert, stay safe, and don’t let a quick deal turn into a costly mistake.
