Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports June 14, 2024 – June 20, 2024
6/20/2024 – Retail Theft – 900 block of Vasant Dr. at Wegman’s reported at 5:30 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress involving a male and female who loaded up reuseable bags with $1,676.07 worth of merchandise and fled the store. Upon being confronted, the male dropped his bags and fled on foot while the female fled in a SUV. The vehicle was stopped on the I-295 W ramp and the 23 year old female from Buena Park, CA was taken into custody. Her brother, the 18 year old male from Harbra, CA was apprehended hiding behind a dumpster. The female had a federal warrant and warrants from several states. They were taken into police custody, arraigned by District Justice Wagner and sent to BCCF in lieu of $100,000/10% bail.
6/19/2024 – Motor Vehicle Theft – 400 block of Kings Rd. reported at 8:32 a.m. Complainant reported theft of their 2021 Dodge Durango sometime overnight. Investigation ongoing.
6/19/2024 – Fraud – 200 block of S. Flint Ct. reported at 12:01 p.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.
6/18/2024 – Solicitors – 300 block of Richard Rd. reported at 2:53 p.m. Complainant reported solicitor in the area soliciting for Advanced Axis without a permit. She was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.
6/18/2024 – Wanted Person & Drug Arrest – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 5:32 p.m. Police on patrol received an LPR hit for a wanted person who had an active warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Handgun out of Trenton, NJ. Police conducted a felony car stop and found four glass jars containing marijuana, two small scales, one box of 100 hypodermic needles, hundreds of small Ziploc bags, a razor blade, one box of sandwich bags, forty four small bags containing crack cocaine in the vehicle. They also found fourteen white packets containing heroin/fentanyl and $222 USD on his person. The 37 year old male from Morrisville, PA was taken into police custody. He was charged with Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver, Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession of heroin/fentanyl, Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession of crack cocaine, Delivery/Intent to Deliver Drug Paraphernalia and related charges. He was arraigned by District Justice O’Neil and sent to BCCF in lieu of $200,000/10% bail.
6/16/2024 – Disorderly Conduct – 1500 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 1:39 a.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at the location. Upon arrival, police were met by a group of people who were maced by unknown assailants but refused police assistance. Police were called back out to the residence at 2:50 a.m. due to the same assailants driving around the parking lot, possibly armed and threatening the residents. A vehicle matching the description was pulled over on River Rd. where two of the assailants were identified. An 18 year old female and 21 year old female from Trenton, NJ were cited for Disorderly Conduct.
6/14/2024 – Burglary – 1200 block of Woodside Rd. reported at 9:12 p.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress at the location. The homeowner observed an unknown male enter their pool house. Police entered the pool house and located the 28 year old male from Decatur, GA. He was taken into police custody. He was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Loitering and Prowling. He was arraigned by District Justice O’Neil and was sent to BCCF in lieu of $50,000/10% bail.
