Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports – May 16, 2025 to May 28, 2025
5/28/2025 – Fraud – 200 block of Ballytore Ct. reported at 11:21 a.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $10,800.00.
5/27/2025 – Theft from Vehicle – 900 block of Overton Ave. reported at 12:11 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $600.00 USC from the purse.
5/24/2025 – Theft – 900 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 6:03 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) forced entry into their shed and removed a dirt bike.
5/24/2025 – Theft from Vehicle – Unit block of Hillside Ln. reported at 3:15 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed credit cards from their purse. Their credit cards were subsequently used in Norristown.
5/23/2025 – Identity Theft – Unit block of Sandy Dr. reported at 12:18 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) changed their address on their investment account and fraudulently cashed a check in the amount of $1,387.37.
5/22/2025 – Fraud – 1400 block of Wheatsheaf Rd. reported at 4:53 p.m. Complainant reported having issues with their printer and called who they believed to be Epson. The unknown male posing as an Epson employee installed malware on their computer after being given remote access.
5/19/2025 – Retail Theft Arrest (Updated) – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 4:31PM. On 4/30/25, Loss Prevention reported an unknown female removed $271.36 worth of merchandise without paying. Loss Prevention was able to obtain the license plate number and police were able to positively ID the female offender through her Driver’s License photo and surveillance video. A warrant was issued for the 32 year old female from Trenton, NJ. On 5/19/25, the 32 year old female turned herself in and was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
5/19/25 – Wanted Person – Big Oak Rd. & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 7:33 p.m. Police on patrol received an LPR alert for a wanted person. A vehicle stop was conducted and a records check confirmed the 31 year old male driver from LMT was wanted out of Asbury Park, NJ for Fraud and Abuse. He was taken into police custody. He was arraigned by District Justice Falcone and sent to BCCF in lieu of $200,000/10% bail.
5/18/2025 – Criminal Trespass – 1700 block of Covington Rd. reported at 2:09 p.m. Complainant reported unknown male knocked on their door. When the homeowner didn’t answer, the male walked into the unlocked residence.
5/17/2025 – Accident & DUI Arrest – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Oxford Oaks Shopping Center reported at 5:51 p.m. Police responded to the report of a minor accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 42 year old female driver from Morrisville, PA for Driving Under the Influence.
5/16/2025 – Fraud – 100 block Hyde Park Pl. reported at 11:03 a.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office stating the victim had two unpaid citations and convinced them to go to a Bitcoin machine and send $4,230.00.
