Lower Makefield Twp. Police Reports Dec 27, 2024 – Jan 8, 2025

1/8/2025 – Theft – 1700 Block of Buchannan Way reported at 11:11 a.m. Complainant reports that unknown persons opened bank accounts with their information. The complaint was advised that $59 had been transferred from one of their bank accounts. No other transactions occurred, and the accounts were then closed.

1/8/2025 – Criminal Trespass – 200 Block of River Rd. reported at 1:20 a.m. Complainant reports that he opened the door for an unknown male subject who then forced his way past the homeowner and entered the home. Police responded and took the subject into custody.

1/7/2025 – Theft – 1641 Big Oak Rd. reported at 8:10 p.m. Police received a call that there were three subjects inside the store wearing ski masks. An employee observed two subjects filling shopping carts with merchandise. The third subject left the parking lot in an unknown vehicle. The other two subjects were detained by police. One of which was taken into custody for retail theft.

1/7/2025 – Attempted Burglary – 1300 Block of Oxford Valley Rd at 4:31 p.m. Complainant reports that approximately three weeks ago two males attempted to enter their home. Both subjects fled the area in a white Toyota Camry with PA registration after the owner’s dog chased them from the property.  No damage or theft were reported.  The incident is under investigation.

1/3/2025 – Fraud – 600 Block of Tomlinson Ln. reported at 4:05 p.m. Complainant reports that an unknown person used their debit card in the amount of $1674.24. Bank to do an investigation.

1/3/2025 – Theft – 1900 Block of Knights Cir. reported at 10:55 a.m. Complainant states that they ordered merchandise valued at $100 which was stolen from their mailbox on 12/30/24.

1/2/2025 – Fraud – 600 Block Pennsdale Dr. reported at 3:38 p.m. Complainant reports that a tax refund check in the amount of $1378.69 was never received. Bank claims check was cashed by an unknown person. Both bank and US Postal Service will be conducting investigations

1/1/2025 – DUI – Rt 332 and I295 reported at 4:38 a.m. Police observed a vehicle driving at high rate of speed.  26 year old male driver from Newtown Twp. was detained and ultimately arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

12/30/2024 – Theft – 1000 Block of Stony Hill Rd reported at 1:13 p.m. Complainant reports that a theft of ground wire from a work site was stolen on 12/26/2024 at approximately 6:20 p.m. valued at $2500.

12/28/2024 – Fraud – 2000 Block of Sylvan Terrace reported at 2:17  p.m. Complainant reported a suspicious phone call that identified themselves from PECO. Caller told complainant they were going to remove meter due to non-payment and demanded money to not do so. Complainant realized it was a scam call and terminated call. No monetary loss was reported.

12/27/2024 – Fraud – 600 Block of Rose Hollow Rd. reported at 2:15 p.m. Complainant reports fraud on their debit card in the amounts of $459 and $50. Complainant to contact bank to report.

12/27/2024 – Fraud – 2100 Block of Yardley Rd reported at 12:07 p.m. Complainant reported that packages were delivered to their address that they did not order. Shortly after delivery, complainant received phone call from unknown person stating they had them shipped to wrong address. Complainant contacted police to report. Complainant also checked their bank account and there was a charge of $1,691.72. Complainant then contacted bank to advise and then was going to return packages to UPS.

12/27/2024 – Identity Theft – 500 Block of Heritage Oak reported at 10:13 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person used their credit card to make a purchase of $300. Complainant contacted bank to stop payment.
