Retail Theft 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 9:02AM. Loss Prevention detained a 48 year old female from LMT for taking merchandise without paying on several occasions. Investigation ongoing.
Fraud – 1500 block of Littlecroft Ct. reported at 4:17PM. Complainant reported receiving an email from someone claiming to be their friend asking them to purchase a $300.00 Amazon gift card. After purchasing the card and providing the information via email, the victim contacted the friend via telephone and realized this was a scam.
Theft– 18000 block of Cornerstone Dr. reported at 4:06PM. Complainant reported theft of 69,000 ($2,035.50) airline miles.
Credit Card Theft – 1700 block of Renaissance Blvd. reported at 8:31PM. Complainant reported unauthorized use of a credit card in the amount of $629.49.
Identity Theft– 200 block of Forrest Rd. reported at 4:51PM. Complainant reported unknown person(s) attempted to open bank accounts in their name.
Accident/DUI Arrest – Lindenhurst Rd. & Washington Crossing Rd. reported at 1:29AM. Police responded to the report of a hit and run (car vs fence) at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 26 year old female driver from Newtown, PA for Driving Under the Influence.
Fraud – 1600 block of Yardley-Langhorne Rd. at CVS reported at 7:34PM. Pharmacy Manager reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be a doctor trying to get several controlled prescriptions filled. After contacting the doctor’s office, it was determined this was a fraudulent phone call and the prescription was not filled.
