Yardley Man Charged with Statutory Rape, Sexual Assault & Extortion

A Yardley man has been charged with a statutory rape, sexual assault, and sexual extortion,  charges in connection to a relationship he had with a girl beginning in 2015, when she was 13.

Cody D. Jammer, who just turned 25, was arrested last week on two counts of deviate sexual intercourse, two counts of sexual assault, and five additional sex related offenses.

Lower Makefield Detectives became aware of the case, court records reveal, as a result of interviews with the victim identified by psuedo initials last year.

Detectives say, through interviews beginning in July of 2020, the victim said she had been victimized by Jammer from 2015 to 2016 when the victim was 14 to 15 years old.

The victim told police she had met Jammer in July of 2015 when she was 13 years-old. In August of the same year, Jammer had oral and vaginal intercourse with the victim, days short of his 19th birthday.

The victim said, from that point on, Jammer was very “worried about getting in trouble because of her age,”according to the probable cause affidavit.

Due to the alleged fear, the suspect, began to meet with the victim in places where privacy could be had. Such as his car, parking lots, the woods, or his home on the 800 block of Sumpter Drive to have sex with the under-aged victim.

Jammer also collected nude photo’s of the victim, she would take for him and send via the social media app, Snap Chat, detectives wrote in court records. The suspect requested the victim send him other similar risque photos which he she alleged he had on his computer and cell phone.

The victim told police the suspect was so worried about getting in trouble that they communicated ‘third party apps” in which a pass code was needed to open messages the suspect sent her. The victim also told police Jammer was tech savvy and manipulative with digital technology court records show.

Jammer would warn the victim, according to police, that if she ever left him, he would send the compromising images of her to her parents and school officials.

Jammer, according to police, subsequently asked the victim to find a young girl with a ‘baby face’ so that they could have a threesome. Jammer provided pictorial examples of 14 and 15 year-old girls who fit that description.

On July 16 Lower Makefield Police served a search warrant to the Sumpter Drive home where Jammer lives seizing his computer and cell phone. The items were submitted for forensic evaluation which located images substantiating the claims by the victim with regards to sexual contact between the victim and Jammer.

Jammer was jailed on August 21 with his bail set at 10 percent of $500K. He was subsequently released the same day posting $50,000 bail.

Jammer is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at District Judge Corrine Kronnagel’s Court,  Friday, October 15th..
