A voicemail left with a former babysitter by a sister concerned and seemingly unsure of who to share the ugliest of secrets a child can keep with, has led to the arrest of a Levittown man accused of raping a 10 year-old girl continually for over a year.
That ended last week when Middletown T0wnship Police arrested Luis Rosa, 36 of Levittown, charging him with involuntary. deviate sexual intercourse with a child and aggravated assault. He was arraigned by Judge Christopher E. O’Neill who set bail at 10 percent of $250,000.00, said in court records.
According to the probable cause, a former family babysitter was a left a voicemail in July, by a someone she used to watch that said Rosa did something bad. She called police who in turn responded by doing a wellbeing check. Police met with the child who left the message and their parent. The message leaver told police, her sibling, R.G., told her Rosa touched her sexually.
R.G, told police Rosa placed his fingers on and in her vagina, his penis in her mouth, his hand on her breasts and buttocks under her clothing on numerous occasions. When an agency with the sole purpose of protecting children visited the residence, the victim told police, Rosa directed the child to only tell about the first time and that God would handle the rest, according to affidavit.
The assaults took place in a residential area adjacent to New Falls Road in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.
Lower Bucks Source will not be releasing the exact address of where the rapes and assaults allegedly took place to shield the victim and her family.
Rosa is currently scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 26 in front of Judge O’Neill. He has no attorney of record listed according to court records. Rosa requested a bail reduction hearing today, online court records show. The outcome of which is unknown as of publication time.
