A home was destroyed by fire in the Snowball Gate section of Levittown Saturday evening.
According to Ron Roberts, emergency services reporter, around 7:30 p.m., firefighters responded to Silver Spruce Rd for multiple calls reporting the rear of a house on fire. First responders were advised there was possible entrapment due to cars being in the driveway.
Fire crews battled the intense flames involving an attached garage and living areas and found all occupants were out of the residence. Severe fire conditions caused firefighters to evacuate the interior at one point.
In an online statement, police confirmed that three dogs were safely rescued from the dwelling and that the cause of the fire is being investigated by the Middletown Fire Marshal.

No word on what caused the fire as of publication time.
