Two Morrisville women are charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor simple assault, harassment and related offenses for launching their own version of a ‘mean girls’ club targeting a female resident this past summer.
On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Morrisville Borough Police received a phone call from a female complainant regarding a possible burglary and assault, court records show.
The victim stated that around 10:30 p.m. on June 24, 2025, two females she knew as Abbigal Sawyer and Hailey Martin attempted to break into her residence. She stated that both subjects first banged on her front door and attempted to enter the residence. They then moved around to the side of the residence. Sawyer opened the victim’s bedroom window and ripped the curtain down, then leaned into the window. Meanwhile, Martin recorded the incident on her phone. At the time, the victim was in bed, adjacent to the window. When she sat up, Sawyer punched her in the eye, knocking her head into the window. This caused the victim a black eye. She stated she ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife to arm herself against the females. They screamed and cursed at her. The victim’s four young children were in the residence at the time of the incident, according to the probable cause.
After the incident, Sawyer began messaging the victim about the incident that had just occurred. She indicated that she and Martin were the subjects on scene. The subjects then proceeded to the victim’s vehicle and covered it in dog feces, writing obscenities on the vehicle. This incident was caught on camera and the officer was provided with footage.
Alleged mean girls Sawyer and Martin, said police, both filmed the vehicle with their phones apparently not realizing the footage would soon become evidence in a criminal proceeding.
After the subjects left, several mutual acquaintances messaged the victim about the assault and burglary. She alleged she had also experienced harassment from Sawyer and Martin driving by her residence and yelling obscenities. In addition, she alleged the theft of her Ring camera from her front porch on November 1, 2025.
The two 26-year-old women were picked up and arrested on November 19, and arraigned by an Upper Bucks County on-call judge who set unsecured bail for each with a court date set for Dec. 2 at Morrisville Borough District Court.
