The Burlington City Police arrested a New Jersey Man after a brief struggle in which officers recovered a loaded stolen .9mm handgun reported stolen from Morrisville, The Burlington County Times reported Monday.
According to the BCT report, Police were responding to a dispute outside a local watering hole a little before 1 am on Keim Boulevard, Saturday night. Police said James Mobley, 40, fled the scene into a used car dealership located across the street and allegedly took what was described as a ‘tactical position’ behind a vehicle, and pulled a gun out of his waistband.
Mobley, from Riverside, New Jersey, is currently being held in the Burlington County Jail awaiting for a possible grand jury indictment was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, aggravated assault and related offenses.
Police said the weapon was loaded with armor piercing rounds and a second type of ammunition.
