Car Smashes into Morrisville Home

Blood curdling screams of “Oh my god, Oh My God” could be heard early Saturday morning, after a vehicle crashed into a Morrisville home.

The crash occurred around 1:30 am leaving a huge hole in a home on the 600 block of Rutland Street.

First responders and police responded to the call and sources at the scene said the homeowner escaped the crash uninjured.

Chief of Police George McClay said the crash is under investigation.

Witnesses at the scene said they saw police speaking with a man, who they say was the driver of the vehicle.

The driver was speeding, said one resident who says he saw the crash.   He wen over the sidewalk, jumped a tree stump and hoped the fenced went right into the house,

Neighbors said they were really concerned about the vulnerability of the home with the gaping hole front of the home.

I feel like I should go out there and cover the hole with a tarp or something the concerned neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said. Ronnie Ramz.

As Saturday morning review of filed criminal cases revealed no arrests have been made as of 12:30 pm
