Morrisville Borough Police say they are trying to locate information about a Jeep Grand Cherokee connected to the break-in and trashing of a popular local pub.
Police say they are trying to “locate a 2023’/24’ Jeep Grand Cherokee” connected to last Sunday’s burglary at Dacey’s Pub, 215 West Philadelphia Avenue.
The Jeep was last heading towards Tyburn Road around 8:00 a.m. the morning of the break-in.
Morrisville authorities said up to $1000.00 in cash was stolen by the thief with about $20,000 in damages to the bar by the suspect.
“At this time we do have a suspect we are looking at,” said Corporal Lew Halas.
The burglary and subsequent trashing of the night spot caused a stir on social media with Dacey’s owners taking to social media to thank all who have helped and supported the business with tips and comments about the burglary.
