Morrisville Borough Police Sgt, John Aspromonti after serving for more than three decades, officially retired last week.
Aspromonti dedicated more than 30 years of distinguished service to the Morrisville Police Department, leaving a lasting impact on both the department and the community he proudly served, a police spokesperson said.
Aspromonti, played a “vital role” in mentoring a myriad of officers throughout his 30 plus years serving a peace officer.
“Beyond his professional accomplishments, officials said, Aspromonti, was known for his kind heart, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others—truly the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
“As he begins his well-earned retirement, he looks forward to spending more time doing what he loves most: fishing. We extend our deepest gratitude to Sgt. Aspromonti for his decades of hard work, dedication, leadership, and service. His contributions to the Morrisville Police Department will not be forgotten, and we wish him many happy and relaxing days on the water,” police officials said.
