Morrisville Police Reports: Arrests, Attempted Burglary, Dollar Tree Employee Pursues Candy Thief

Arrest/ Theft from Motor Vehicle – 4/28/20 @ 08:49 – Brian Petrino, age 42, was arrested for stealing an orange Acetron Code Scanner from a blue van parked on the 500 block of Woodland Avenue and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Value: $75.00
Arrest/Disorderly Conduct – 5/6/20 @ 14:06 – James Appenzeller, age 55, will be cited for Disorderly Conduct for an incident that occurred at 833 W. Trenton Avenue.
Attempted Burglary – 5/7/20 @ 20:34 – Resident returned home to find her front door forced open on the 100 block of Robertson Avenue. Nothing reported stolen.
Retail Theft – 5/8/20 @ 14:39 – Report of stolen candy from the Dollar Tree on E. Trenton Avenue. Employee, who followed suspect toward Calhoun Street Bridge, was able to recover the stolen candy. Suspect described as a black male wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black jeans and a surgical mask. Value $30.00
Theft – 5/8/20 @ 15:00 – Report of 3 hanging flower baskets, 3 begonia baskets and 2 sheppard hooks stolen from the front porch on the 600 block of N. Lafayette Avenue between 5/7 @ 3:30pm to 5/8 @ 7:30am. Value: $100.00
Arrest/Disorderly Conduct – 5/10/20 @ 22:22 – Karon Griffin, age 35, will be cited for Disorderly Conduct for an incident that occurred on 100 block of E. Maple Avenue.
