Morrisville Woman Who set Fire to Mobile Home Has 2 Charges Withdrawn

Submitted: Kimberly Zimmerman charged with Arson

The Morrisville woman accused of setting a mobile home on fire had two criminal charges withdrawn Tuesday during a preliminary hearing in District Court.

Kimberly Zimmerman,  32, originally charged with felony arson, criminal mischief and reckless burning will now face one count of felony reckless burning at her formal arraignment in Doylestown on February 25.

Zimmerman was accused of setting a mobile home on fire in December

According to Police, Zimmerman was seeking retribution for money owed to her by the occupant of the mobile home.

Days after she was bonded out of Bucks County Jail, Zimmerman appeared on social media posting sardonic jokes and comments about the charges she was facing, going so far as to contact this reporter too through a social media messaging application.

Zimmerman remains free on bail.

Because she’s innocent, and they made her plea to a lesser charge (that’s what they do to innocent people, by scaring them with jail time). Because she spoke to police without a lawyer present and gave them probable cause. Someone set her up. Likely, the guy who she turned into DYFS, who got arrested for touching his children. This woman has an 8 year old child. Her “sardonic messages” were messages stating she was not worried, because she didn’t do anything.

This woman is innocent! The owner of the motor home committed insurance fraud is my best guess. She was forced to take a plea, to avoid jail time and hurt her little girl. So sad seeing innocent people go to jail!!
