Lower Bucks County first responders braved below freezing temperatures to knock back a fire at a Morrisville Borough home New Year’s night.
The Morrisville Borough Fire Company and mutual aid fire crews were dispatched to the intersection of North Lafyette and West Maple Avenues a short time before 6 pm for a dwelling fire.
Fire crews upon arrival observed a deck on fire in the back yard.
Holly Marie Stevens, the self identified owner of the home posted on Meta to update family, friends and concerned neighbors.
“Praise the Lord, the fire was all outside and the only thing we’re having to deal with on the inside is the massive amount of glass that’s all over from windows being broken. We’re beyond thankful for whoever called it in and for the fast police and fire response. God is good!”
