Borough Police to Assist State Police in managing Services at Wade Funeral Home for “Hero” Trooper

Services in Bristol for Pennsylvania State Trooper Martin F. Mack III begin Wednesday morning.

Mack was killed, along with fellow Trooper Branden T Sica and civilian Reyes Rivera Oliveras, 28, of Allentown on I-95 March 21 when they were struck and killed.

Officer in Charge Sgt Joe Moors  said he expects to see thousands from the law enforcement community to come into Bristol for the services at Wade Funeral Home 1002 Radcliffe St for today’s viewing hours.

Public viewing hours will take place from 10 am to 3 pm.

Moors said in addition to the traffic flow and parking restrictions already implemented for Wednesday’s services, Bristol officers  Emergency Management officials, and Fire Police will be on hand to assist  operations.

The Bucks County Rescue Squad will be stationed within the boundaries of the areas shut down to traffic flow for ease of access for any 911 related medical issues occurring in the immediate area, Moors said.

Parking and traffic flow through Bristol Borough in the area of Wade Funeral Home is as follows.

  1. The even numbered address side of Radcliffe St from Walnut St to Lincoln Avenue will be closed for parking from 8 am, to 9 pm Wednesday. Radcliffe St will stay open to east bound traffic during this time
  2. The odd numbered address side of Jefferson Ave through Pond St will also be closed for parking during the same hours noted above.

Traffic will stay open traveling north on Jefferson Ave through Pond St.

Westbound traffic on Radcliffe St will be closed at Fillmore St between the hours of 8 am to 11 am

On Thursday March 31, Radcliffe St will be closed in both directions from Walnut St through Fillmore St. between the hours of 8 am and 11 am

On both dates and times traffic should avoid Radcliffe St, and utilize Pond St.

Officers  will be posted throughout the area to assist with traffic issues that may arise during these times.

Moors said there will be shuttle buses running from the Lenox parking lot, located on 1414 Radcliffe St and will bring mourners to Wade Funeral Home

On Tuesday SEPTA released a modified route plan for three buses providing service in the area.

Tullytown Police announced their plans for Thursday’s services at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, earlier today.

Jayana Tanae Webb, 20 of Eagleville was charged and jailed last week with multiple homicide related offenses for killing the all three.

She is scheduled to appear in court on April 5 and remains in jail.

  1. Questions, shouldn’t the “eastbound” street names onto Radcliffe (that runs north and south) be published? Also, doesn’t Jefferson Avenue run east and west? So should traffic run west onto Jefferson to aPond Street?
I believe the above directions may confuse folks that are not from the Borough. JMHO
