A Levittown man has been accused of harassing an ex-girlfriend in one of the most violating ways possible, the sharing of an intimate photo taken when the couple was in good standing.
Joseph J. Shandley, 47, is being summoned to Morrisville District Court by mail summons to answer charges he harassed his ex-girlfriend in July and August.
According to Yardley Borough Police, the victim met with an officer earlier this week to report the alleged harassment by Shandley who she ended the relationship with after about five months.
The victim told police, Shandley had continued to remain in contact with her by stalking and harassing her in the weeks after she broke off the relationship including leaving handwritten notes on her vehicle.
Police noted the following in the probable cause: Handley left a note on the victim’s vehicle July 16; followed her to Big Lots on the same date; sent her messages via a social media application on July 11, the dissemination of intimate images of the victim to a coworker of hers and messages which included vulgar language.
Shandley is being charged with unlawful dissemination of an intimate images, harassment, and stalking.
A pending court date is scheduled for September 17.
