Before Aaron Resnick came upon two men fishing at the marina in Neshaminy State Park and allegedly tried to rob the two anglers leading to him being shot the 47-year-old Croydon man reportedly exposed himself to Suburban Diner customers earlier that day.
According to police, on September 26 at approximately 9:45 a.m. Lower Southampton Township Police responded to the Suburban Diner located at 14 W. Street Rd for the report of a male subject who was being disorderly.
On scene police spoke with two female victims (V#1 and V#2) and an employee who assisted them. V#1 said that she and her friend were sitting inside their car waiting for a third friend to arrive for breakfast. While seated inside the car and parked in front of the diner in a handicapped spot, both victims observed a male exit the diner and walk directly in front of their vehicle. V#1 reported that the male undid his pants and then pulled down his pants exposing himself to them. She reported that they looked away not to look at what they knew was happening, police said in court papers.
The employee provided video of the incident. The subject was identified as Aaron Resnick from a vehicle tag obtained and a corresponding registration photo matching, police said in the probable cause.
According to police, the video shows Resnick exit the diner, walk down the ramp and stop directly in front of V#1’s vehicle. He is seen looking at the occupants, pulling up his black t-shirt, and aligning his body to the vehicle, then opening his belt, unzipping his zipper, and spreading open his khaki shorts. Also during this time you can see a layer of suspected underwear showing above the belt line that Resnick pulls below his groin area effectively exposing his genitals and then can be seen waving his genitals around in a shaking manner while sticking his tongue out, making faces, and keeping eye contact with the victims.
Resnick, according to the video police took into evidence, then turns to leave facing the camera with his belt still open. He walks over to the passenger side window of the vehicle and can be seen mouthing/yelling at the occupants and spat on the window.
Police on scene observed what appeared to be dried saliva on the window.
Resnick then walks out of frame and the video stops. However, V#2 reported that she honked the horn. Resnick walked back to the driver’s window and punched the window with his hand. V#1 reported feeling very scared, police said in court records.
District Judge Daniel Baranoski arraigned Resnick on misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, open lewdness and related offenses. He was confined to Buck County Correctional Facility on 10 percent $50,000.00 bail with a pending court date set for Nov 19.
