The Haunted Hustle 5K offers a run through Historic Newtown Borough that will benefit the NR2F1 Foundation (nr2f1.org).
The run is on Saturday October 18 2025 and begins at 9 a.m. Registration and start finish line is located at Council Rock Administration Building 30 North Chancellor Street Newtown.

Temporary Road Closures will start at 7 a.m on Saturday Oct. 18, said officials.
If you live on the 5K Run route, please consider alternate routes and allow extra time for travelling, said authorities. Local businesses will be open for business and the Police Department will assist as much as possible with travel in Newtown. We will reopen the roads when all participants cross the finish line safely.

Road Closures, according to police, include:
- 7 a.m. – North Chancellor Street between Washington Avenue and Jefferson Avenue will close for event setup in front of Council Rock Admin building
- 8:30 a.m.:
- North State Street ( Washington Avenue – Edgeboro Drive )
- Greene Street ( North State Street – North Congress Street )
- Edgeboro Drive ( North State Street – Linton Hill Road )
- Frost Lane ( Edgeboro Drive – North Lincoln Avenue )
- Jefferson Street ( North Sycamore Street – North Lincoln Avenue )
- Liberty Street ( Washington Avenue – Jefferson Street )
- North Congress Street ( Washington Avenue – Frost Lane )
- North Chancellor Street ( Washington Avenue – Frost Lane )
- Federal Lane Jefferson Street at North Sycamore Street ( Newtown Township )
Police said the parking restrictions are:
- 6 a.m. – No parking in front of 30 North Chancellor Street on both sides for event setup.
- No Parking Along Race Route!
