The 39th Annual All Star Labor Classic will take place on Sunday, April 12th at Holy Family University, proudly sponsored by the Philadelphia Building Trades.
This year’s event continues its long-standing tradition of showcasing the top high school basketball talent in the Greater Philadelphia region while making a meaningful impact off the court. Proceeds from the event benefit The Superhero Project Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families with babies in the NICU by providing critical resources, comfort, and support during challenging times.
To date, nearly $260,000.00 has been raised in support of The Superhero Project Inc., highlighting the incredible generosity of the Building Trades, participating student-athletes, and the broader community.
The event will also welcome union leaders, City Council members, local political leaders, and the Mayor, reflecting the strong partnership between labor, community, and civic leadership.
Each All Star selected to play in this year’s event will receive a $1,000.00 college scholarship, recognizing both their athletic achievements and their commitment to giving back.
A recognition dinner will be held on Thursday, April 9th at Sprinkler Fitters Local Union #692, where all players will be honored. During the event, the top four student-athletes who raised the most funds for The Superhero Project Inc. will each be awarded an additional $1,000.00 scholarship in recognition of their outstanding fundraising efforts.
The All Star Labor Classic remains more than just a game—it is a celebration of community, opportunity, and purpose.
