In a continued effort to keep the local business community informed, SCORE Bucks County will offer three free webinars in August.

The first, “How to Improve Your Firm’s Profitability,” will be held on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Led by SCORE Bucks County certified mentor Alberto Casadei, the webinar will outline strategies to improve profitability, with a focus on the optimization of existing business and operations. Casadei has vast experience in operations management, engineering, product development and business development.

Participants will get a better understanding of:

• Key drivers for profitability 
• Financial tracking and analysis to manage the business 
• Steps needed for continuous profitability improvements 

On Aug. 17, SCORE Bucks certified mentor Steve Wolfson will present “Are you ready to be an entrepreneur?” The session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cover how someone can know if they are ready for the daily responsibility of business ownership.

Wolfson, who has decades of experience starting and managing multiple businesses, will cover the following steps needed for business success:

• Become an expert in your field or niche 
• Put in sweat equity
• Do homework to capture the right customers
• Learn from all resources available 
• Provide strong customer service 

On Aug. 31 Donna Botti of Delos Inc., will present “How do Facebook and Google ads work?” The session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Botti will outline how these advertising platforms work and the best way to plan a successful campaign. She will discuss:

• The differences and similarities between Facebook and Google advertising 
• What is needed to get started
• The elements of a successful campaign
