Two Bucks County Community College (BCCC) students, both class of 2025, selected for their academic achievement and service to the community have been named to the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team by the Pennsylvania Association for Community Colleges.
Adrian Tyrk of Morrisville, a chemistry major, and Jessica Waterstradt of Quakertown, a social science major, were selected for their high academic achievements – each has a GPA of 3.5 or higher – and their service to the college and the community. The recognition includes a two-year tuition waiver at anyone of the 10 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Both were congratulated by Dr. Patrick M. Jones, President & CEO of BCCC, after being named to the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team.
Adrian Tyrk is graduating in May with an associate degree in chemistry and plans to transfer to an Ivy League university to study biochemistry and molecular biology.
Jessica Waterstradt is graduating in May with an associate degree in social science, plans to transfer to Kutztown University and hopes to eventually work with a nonprofit or in politics in order to achieve her lifelong dream of helping others.
