Bristol High School Warriors Unified Track Team Wins Medals at Regional Finals

At last weeks Bristol Borough School District meeting, track and field athletes were honored for winning an array of medals at a regional meet earlier this month.

Superintendent Dr. Rose Minniti and the board, congratulated the 12 winners, of which, several were in attendance with a brief playing of Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” anthem at last weeks meeting.

The unified  track team won the team gold medal in the regional championship with a first place score of 210 points, out running William Tennent, Pennsbury, and Central Bucks South High School’s.
The Warriors were led by the heroic efforts of 
Jimmy Vroman- 3 gold medals
Jayson delgado- 2 golds and 1 silver
Taylor Simonson- 2 gold medals
Thomas Satterfield- 2 golds, 1 silver
Nuke Beauplan- 1 gold, 2 silvers
Dom Gallagher- 2 golds, 1 bronze
Delaney Slate- 1 gold, 1 silver
Kontoe Zeegar- 2 golds and 1 silver
Korpo Zeegar- 2 golds, 1 bronze
Charles Satterfield- 2 golds, 1 silver
Chloe Roman- 1 silver
Gabe Allison- 1 bronze
Minniti said on Wednesday The Warriors competed in a state meet Tuesday with the hopes of earning an invitation the a national meet in Florida in the near future.
This was really a special win, Minniti said.
