Jazz on the River Returns to Bristol

After a two year hiatus the Jazz on the River concert is returning to Bristol Borough on June 22 from 5 to 8 pm, officials announced at last weeks school board meeting.
The concert will be held at the King George II Inn, on the Delaware River, in Bristol and serves as a fundraiser for the Grundy Foundation’s Academic Oversight Committee (AOC). The programs and summer activities are free for all of the school district’s students, and are held at Snyder-Girotti Elementary, Bristol High, and St. Mark schools.
One hundred percent of the funds raised will go to the AOC, officials said.
Tickets are $60 per person, and include a buffet dinner, two drink tickets for cocktails, beer, or wine.
Ticketholders will receive a wristband that will give them access to the drinks and the buffet.
Tickets are available at the Bristol Borough Tax Office, Great ID’s s by Anne, on Radcliffe Street and Mignoni Jewelry, 200 Mill Street.
