Farmers Market Vouchers Available at Senior Centers

The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (BCAAA) has once again partnered with the state Department of Agriculture to help stock seniors’ pantries with fresh, locally grown produce.

Through the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), eligible seniors can receive vouchers valued at $24 per eligible recipient. Vouchers are available through Sept. 30, or while supplies last, and can be used to purchase fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets.

Eligible seniors reside in Bucks County, will be 60 or older by the end of the year and meet annual income requirements. Income includes wages, rental income, Social Security, child support payments, retirement plan distributions, and other forms of income.

The program’s 2022 household income eligibility is:

  • 1 person – $25,142
  • 2 people – $33,874
  • 3 people – $42,606
  • 4 people $51,338
  • 5 people $60,070
  • 6 people $68,802

Applications and vouchers are available at participating senior centers throughout the county. Check with your local senior center for hours and availability:
