August will be the last time in 2025 locally for Lower Bucks residents to rid their places of hazardous materials.
Some items, including electronics, latex paint and appliances, cannot be accepted. You can dispose safely of up to 25 gallons or 220 pounds of common, but potentially hazardous household items like pesticides, batteries and household cleaners.
The event is scheduled for August 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. rain or shine at the Bucks County Technical School.
The dates for Hazardous Waste were announced earlier this year with April 5th being the first date in 2025. Four months later and the collection time frame is closing for 2025.
Make sure you dispose of everything hazardous or you will need to wait until spring of 2026 to dispose of the hazardous materials.
