NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, is pleased to announce the receipt of a $7,500 Capital Improvement Grant from Foundations Community Partnership (FCP), which will support the renovation of NOVA’s training room into a flexible, trauma-informed Multi-Purpose Training & Healing Space.

This thoughtfully designed renovation will transform the existing space into a dynamic hub for healing, learning, and connection. Once complete, the updated room will host group counseling sessions, trauma-informed yoga sessions, staff trainings, and a range of community-based programs and events.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Foundations Community Partnership for their continued belief in our mission and the impact of our work,” said Angela McGettigan, Senior Director of Operations and Community Engagement, NOVA. “This grant is not just an investment in bricks and mortar—it’s an investment in wellness, inclusion, and growth. By updating this space, we can offer a more welcoming and restorative environment for healing and learning.”

This grant marks another chapter in the longstanding relationship between NOVA and Foundations Community Partnership. For more than 17 years, FCP has supported NOVA through both programmatic and capital funding, reinforcing the organization’s mission of supporting victims of crime and preventing violence through education, advocacy, and compassionate services.

“We appreciate the opportunity to once again partner with NOVA, assisting the efforts to transform its existing training room into a more flexible, trauma-informed multi-purpose space,” said Tobi Bruhn, Executive Director, Foundations Community Partnership.

The updated Multi-Purpose Training & Healing Space is expected to enhance NOVA’s capacity to serve clients, collaborate with partners, and host educational programs that promote a safer, more supportive Bucks County.
