The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office recently announced a special event “Hike for Mike” which honors the life and legacy of Michael C. Walp, a retired Bucks County detective who passed away in October 2024.
“Hike for Mike,” isn’t just a walk; it’s a way to come together as a community, celebrate a remarkable individual, and provide hope for everyone affected by ALS, said officials.
The event will be held at Warminster Community Park. Every step taken and every donation made will directly support the ALS Hope Foundation’s critical work in care, education, and research, Whether you choose to walk with us or donate, your participation will make a tangible difference in the lives of those battling ALS, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
The officials are asking to honor Mike’s memory and make a difference together by walking or donating to the cause supporting the ALS Hope Foundation.
Registration is open! The date for the actual walk appears to be October 12 2025, according to the ALS Hope Foundation.
