The holiday season is coming up, and most people lose sight of the management of their time and mental and physical health.
With scrumptious holiday dinners and tasty desserts, shopping, wrapping, and visiting, people sometimes feel overwhelmed.
Life happens, and Giant dietitians/nutritionists would like to help with recipes and overall well-being.
The Giant Company issued a press release announcing several nutritional classes during November to help.
According to their press release:
- As the days continue to grow shorter and temperatures drop, there’s nothing quite like warming up with a hot bowl of soup. While you probably have your favorite recipes, before you get cooking, let the GIANT/MARTIN’S dietitians bring you fresh ideas for sprucing your most loved recipes in their Meal Solutions Monday: Seasonal Soups series every Monday at 12 p.m.
- Join the dietitians to explore how seasonal produce deserves a spotlight at the Thanksgiving table in their Produce Spotlight: Seasonal Sides every Tuesday at 12 p.m. With recipes like kale and potato mash with feta and warm Brussels sprouts and apple slaw, they are sure to become yearly favorites for your family.
- Whether you’re looking for better for you baking, board building, or pie elevating inspiration and recipes, make entertaining easier and more affordable this season. The dietitians share their favorite picks and products, as well as provide quick tips and easy takeaways in their Thanksgiving Entertaining series Thursdays at 12 p.m.
- What are you thankful for? Family, health, and food often top the list, so why not combine them all for a fun-filled day in the kitchen. Join the dietitians for Mini Chef Mornings to create mini Thanksgiving pies on Saturday, November 18 at 10 a.m.. It’s the perfect snack craft to create with your little turkeys this Thanksgiving.
- Every Monday at 7 p.m. in November, start your week with Wellbeing Workshops: Diabetes Awareness Month. With topics like Diabetes 101 and Diabetes Management with Pharmacy, learn more about both prediabetes and diabetes, as well as discuss wellbeing tips and product recommendations to aid in the management of this disease.
