Forecasters say temperatures will reach a high of 60 degrees Saturday with a brilliant sun shining across Lower Bucks County and that has to be good news for Bristol Township families who plan to visit the municipal playground after it was closed for one day to install new sun shades.
Parks and Recreation officials said the new sun shades over the spray park and playground area were successfully installed Thursday after a temporary shutdown of the park.
Some of the sun shades appeared to have been damaged over the winter likely due to heavy snowfall and high winds.
“A big thank you to our Public Works team for their hard work in getting everything ready for the warmer, sunnier days ahead. We appreciate everyone’s patience and hope you enjoy the updated space!,” township officials said on Meta.
