Free Bulk Waste Disposal Day in Falls Saturday

Residents of Falls Township and Tullytown Borough can dispose of bulk items for free this Saturday as part of the townships removal program efforts.

The program is for residents of the Falls Township and Tullytown Borough. Proof of residency is required to participate.

Free bulk disposal hours are 7 am to 11 am at the Grows Landfill behind Waste Management’s Turkey Hill office located at 1000 New Ford Mill Road.

Items that can be disposed off are: bulky waste items, yard waste and appliances.

The following materials can not be accepted: liquids, oil, paint, car batteries, propane tanks, gas cylinders, hazardous household wastes, tires, chemicals, pesticides and spray cans.  No refrigerators, air conditioners or freezers.  No electronics including TV’s, computer equipment, stereo equipment, or any other electrical item that plugs in or operates on batteries.
