Starting Friday and continuing through Saturday, food trucks, emergency response vehicles, big trucks and other substantial vehicles will roll into Falls Township Community Park, located at 9050 Mill Creek Road in Levittown, according to officials.
A food truck festival will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 19, along with live music, a beer garden, mini golf, and fireworks at 9 p.m.
This year’s Falls Township Touch-a-Truck event will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. It is a free, family-friendly, hands-on event offering children the opportunity to explore, climb and touch trucks, emergency response vehicles and heavy machinery. Children will meet personnel who protect, serve, and build our community. This experience is a valuable learning opportunity for children as our sponsors can explain how these gigantic vehicles serve the community as first response (police/fire/EMS), farming, manufacturing, construction, etc. Other activities such as face painting, bounce houses, balloon artistry and more will be available. Food and beverages will be sold by Levittown Fire Company #1, according to Touch-a-Truck’s event page on Facebook.\
To accommodate the Food Truck Festival/Touch-a-Truck weekend, Falls Township Parks & Recreation announced schedule modifications for the Community Park on Friday & Saturday.
