Bucks County Recorder of Deeds to Host Reoccurring Events, Monthly Starting in September

Starting September 20th, Bucks County Recorder of Deeds, Dan McPhillips, will be conducting a town hall-esq meeting at the Warminster VFW Post 6493, located at 645 Louise Dr., Warminster, PA 18974. These meetings will give him the opportunity to meet with the public, answer questions about the office, promoting the Free Fraud Alert Program, and taking copies of Veteran Discharge Papers for recording. Right now the meetings will be held at the Warminster VFW every third Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm.
McPhillips hopes to expand this to other VFWs in both upper and lower Bucks County.

“During my tenure as a Warminster Township Supervisor, I was proud to partner with business, places of worship, and community centers to hold monthly constituent meetings, to listen to questions and concerns of residents of the community. This was something I really enjoyed and wanted to continue now that I’m an elected official at the county level. I feel as though it is important that the public have access to information about my office, and the county,” McPhillips said.
Another event, this one started on September 14th, is The Recorder of Deeds History Social. Happening every second Wednesday of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm, this event will explore the history that can be found in the preserved deed books, with the theme changing every month. Dan felt this was a great way to invite the public into the office to see the ongoing efforts of the Deed Book Preservation Project.
