“Discover Bristol” Digital Billboard Goes Live

The marketing of Bristol Borough, winter version, launched Monday with the 500 square foot digital billboard that will be on display at the intersection of Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road.
President of Bristol’s Raising the Bar, Bill Pezza announced the new marketing tool, at the December Council meeting. \
We rented billboard space on the northbound side of Route 1 at Woodbourne Road, Pezza said, adding the advertisement is 35 feet high and 14 feet wide electronic billboard, and it features Bristol native Kacie Pinelli saying “this winter discover the new Bristol Borough.”
“Come to Bristol Borough to dine, to shop, to have a good time” he said.
In late December of 2021, Raising the Bar launched the “Destination Bristol” marketing effort as a way of recapturing momentum gained before the Coronavirus pandemic brought essentially everything to a halt.
“The increase of outside visitors to our commercial district has been dramatic. Now, we feel the time is right to expand the practices that transformed the Borough’s image into one seen as a vibrant dining and entertainment spot” Pezza said at the time.
The 2022 outdoor event season essentially proved, whatever “Mo- Jo” was lost due to the pandemic was quick;y regained with thousands flocking to Bristol for the Sunday Stroll, The Boat Show, Oldies Night, and the ethnic street fairs stood out last spring and summer.
Now with the new digital marketing effort launched, Pezza said “We’re really excited about the signage. ”
Raising the Bar and the Bristol Borough Business Association partnered up to sponsor the digital billboard, officials said.
As part of the digital ad going live, Pezza said a unique live experience featuring a live ice sculptor will be at Mill Street Crossing on January 20 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Hot chocolate for kids, live music will also be on hand.
“We’re not going to hibernate this Winter” he said.
