A “rebranded” ice cream shop opened up in Bensalem under the name Bucks Cow-unty Ice Cream over the weekend.
On Saturday, customers could meet the restaurants mascot Daisy alongside a live cow named Duke.
On Sunday, the ice cream shop offered face painting for kids and pony rides, while on both days there were Cornhub food trucks.
In an interview with the restaurant manager Damarcus Burke, he explained that alongside ice cream and water ice, the shop plans on selling hot food later in the season.
“Originally we were called Brodies, but we rebranded to Bucks Cow-unty Ice Cream, we’re still under the same management.”
Burke said that opening weekend has been great, with many in the community coming out.

“We had a lot of customers, all of which are excited for us to be back. We’re great people, we love the community, and we’re excited for customers to stop on by.”
Some of those customers had glowing reviews for the place. Guy Fesko called the place fantastic, and anther customer, James Wagner liked the soft served ice cream he ordered.
“It’s a nice sized cone. I wouldn’t mind coming back for seconds.”
Bucks Cow-unty hours are currently 1-9 Monday-Thursday, 1-10 Fridays, 11-10 Saturdays, and 12-9 on Sundays, but subject to change once school’s let out, Burke said.
