The Langhorne Speedway Diner, once home for 30 years to the Blue Fountain Diner, is no longer as demolition at the site started Monday with Panda Express constructing a new building in its place, for the planned Asian-American restaurant and make Middletown their home.
The site is on the 2000 block of Lincoln Highway (Business Route 1) sandwiched in between a car dealership and a Citizen’s Bank branch near Woodbourne Road.
Panda Express is an American fast food restaurant chain that specializes in American Chinese cuisine and has over 2,400 locations in the U.S. It is the largest Asian-segment restaurant chain in the United States, where it was founded, and is mainly located in North America and Asia.

The entire property is a two-parcel lot, with Panda Express locked into the parcel where the diner stood and the other space will be for lease or sale, a spokesperson for Soloff Realty & Development said this summer.
The Langhorne site will be the second Bucks County location for the company. There is one currently operating in Trevose on Horizon Boulevard and there are four Philadelphia locations currently open for business with one finding a home on the Temple University campus.
