A new Bucks County Humane Society Police Officer was sworn in Friday morning to protect and defend furry friends and alike county wide.
Honorable Judge Jeffrey G. Trauger swore in Bucks County SPCA’s newest Humane Society Police Officer Kalah Ingle at the courthouse in Doylestown on Friday SPCA officials shared across their socials.
In attendance for the ceremony was Officer Ingle’s family, BCSPCA board president Maria Wirths, Chief HSPO Nikki Thompson, HSPO Lizz Knight, and other members of the BCSPCA staff.
Ingle has been an asset to the BCSPCA since joining the organization in 2025 as a Humane Law Coordinator. Her commitment to protecting and serving animals is evidenced by her dedication, professionalism, and teamwork an SPCA spokesperson said.
As a Humane Society Police Officer, Ingle’s responsibilities will include investigating claims of animal neglect and cruelty, educating the public, helping to find solutions for animal-related issues, and prosecution of crimes.
Animal cruelty investigation has been at the heart of BCSPCA’s mission since our founding in 1912.
