Nearby: Mont Co Man Charged for Child Sex Luring in Doylestown



A 23 year-old Lansdale man was arrested and charged for luring a person posing as a teen boy to a Doylestown park for sex.
According to a press release from Central Bucks Regional Police the ‘meet’ took place at Veterans Memorial Park on July 24.
Weiss started talking to the fictitious boy through an online forum, Police said.
Police obtained numerous text messages from Weiss to the “boy” requesting sexual acts according to court records.
Weiss is charged with one felony count of involuntary sexual deviate intercourse with a person under 13, one felony m count of unlawful contact with a minor, one felony count of use of a criminal use of a communication facility, one count of criminal attempt to sell obscene/sexual materials, one felony count of criminal attempt to corrupt a minor and a related misdemeanor offense.
Weiss was arrested without incident, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Mark
D. Douple who set bail at $150,000 unsecured with conditions.
According to court records, Weiss is represented by the law firm of Young, Marr, Mallis & Associates
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 26.
