A 49-year-old man currently serving a five year prison sentence in Wisconsin is now in the custody of Bucks County authorities as he’s been charged for a string of business burglaries dating back to 2022, thanks to a pinky finger fingerprint left at one of the burglaries by his ex girlfriend.

Lower Southampton Township Police Department began an investigation on October 14, 2022, regarding an overnight business burglary at Cold Stone Creamery at 140 East Street Road in Feasterville.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the front door cylinder lock was removed and entry was gained. The involved individual(s) dearmed the business video recording system, took it, removed cash drawers from cash registers as well as approximately $200.00 in US currency, according to court records.

Investigators noticed a clear glass cylinder jar containing walnuts had been moved while processing the scene for physical or forensic evidence. Latent fingerprints were recovered and entered into evidence. Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab received fingerprint hit, according to the probable cause, with an AFIS report identifying Tori Stevens’ right little finger as the submitted fingerprint.

The manager of Cold Stone Creamery, said Stevens wasn’t an employee and had no business being behind the counter.

It was discovered during the  investigation that Stevens and Terion Rush, whose true identity is Theron Brusch -now 50- were charged with several business burglaries with a similar M.O (cutting off the security system).

A black BLU cell phone was recovered during the investigation of these Philadelphia burglaries and entered into Philadelphia Police evidence. Rush (Brusch) is listed as the owner of the   cell phone, police said.

Police interviewed Stevens at her New Jersey home. She agreed to waive her Miranda rights.

Stevens revealed her and her former boyfriend, Brusch, had committed a slew of business burglaries together during October of 2022  and prior to that. She admitted that if her fingerprints were found at the scene, that would have been one of the businesses the former couple broke into. In addition to not having a cell phone, Stevens said the recovered cell phone belonged to Brusch. In addition to using Google Maps, Stevens said Brusch would communicate with a friend who could assist him in getting rid of the computers and surveillance systems that were also stolen,  according to the probable cause affidavit.

Stevens had her day in court and pleaded guilty to a criminal trespass charge for the Cold Stone break-in. She was placed on two years of probation with her supervision transferred to Wisconsin; pay restitution in the amount of $1,450.00, have no contact with Cold Stone and maintain full time employment within 30 days of her December 5, 2024 sentencing, according to court records

LSHPD  issued an arrest warrant late last for Brusch on felony charges of burglary, criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking,  receiving stolen property, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He was taken into custody last month and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Daniel Baranoski. *Bail was denied and his preliminary hearing before Judge Baranoski is scheduled for June 18 , according to online court records.

*Brusch is currently serving five year sentence in Wisconsin for an unrelated conviction as as a result bail can not offered.
