Construction Activities Scheduled on Several State Highways in Lower Bucks



The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that various construction activities on several state highways across Lower Bucks County with the work beginning Sunday night.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions that go into effect Sunday August 7.
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway) between the Route 213 (Maple Avenue) and the Pennsylvania Avenue interchanges in Middleton and Falls townships and Morrisville Borough for line striping;
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 between the Bristol Township line and the U.S. 1 Interchange in Falls Township and Tullytown Borough for line striping;
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 132 (Street Road) between the Route 611 and the I-95 interchanges in Warrington, Warminster, Upper Southampton, Lower Southampton, and Bensalem townships for line striping;
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Interstate 295 between the Middletown Township line and Ford Road Overpass in Middletown and Bristol townships for line striping;
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Bristol Road/Gibson Road between Butler Avenue and Bensalem Boulevard in New Britain, Warrington, Doylestown, Warwick, Northampton, Lower Southampton, and Bensalem townships and Chalfont Borough for line striping;
- Sunday, August 6, through Friday, August 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Heacock Road/Oxford Valley Road/Bristol Oxford Valley Road/Bath Road/Bath Street between Stony Hill Road and Otter Street in Lower Makefield, Falls, Middletown, and Bristol townships and Bristol Borough for line striping;
- Monday, August 7 and Tuesday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure with traffic paces will be in place on eastbound Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) between Stony Hill Road and Interstate 295 in Lower Makefield Township for sign structure demolition.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
