Leaves and yard waste will be picked up town-wide, in brown paper biodegradable bags or open top containers, every Thursday for 6 weeks, beginning November 6th and ending December 11th.
November 27th is a Holiday, pickup will be on Saturday, November 29
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental ProtectionΒ prohibits the collection of leaves and yard waste with regular trash.
No plastic bags will be accepted Borough officials warn.
And as a reminderΒ It is unlawful for residents to rake leaves into the street per Borough Ordinance 724. Fines can be levied for those cited for doing so.
In a unrelated matter Bristol Borough Sewer Customers accounts will transition to Bucks County Water Sewer Authority’s current rate structure and monthly billing cycle effective January 1, 2026.
This follows the terms of the 2022 Bristol Borough-BCWSA acquisition agreement.
