Now that the friendly, always helpful, steady and humble presence behind the scenes for state Rep. Tina Davis (D), in the form of former Chief of Staff Bryan Allen who announced his plans to run for the 18th District seat in Bensalem, who will be taking over his job?
Lower Bucks Source has the answer:
Former Middletown Twp Supervisor Dawn Quirple is now serving as Davis’ new chief of staff, officials said.
Quirple has worked in Davis’ office for seven years, officials said.
In Pennsylvania, according to state law, you can’t hold a job as a state employee and run for office at the same time.
Allen cleaned out the last of his possessions at Davis’ Green Lane office almost two weeks ago, officials said. He was Davis’ Chief of staff for about 14.5 years.
No matter the location where Davis’ office has been located, her staff pride themselves on providing top-notch constituent services and support.
Davis (and her staff) never brag about such things, but have helped an untold number of out of district residents and voters, even voters from the other side of the aisle. Quirple is well-steeped in that constituent service commitment too.
