PennDOT announced on Friday that bridge deck repair and barrier installation will occur at night on southbound I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, November 17, through Friday, November 21, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning, lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Allegheny Avenue interchanges.
Motorists are also reminded that the ramp from Aramingo Avenue at the Bridge Street Interchange to I-95 south remains closed until Friday, November 21, for ramp construction.
Motorists will be directed to exit to Aramingo Avenue at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange, turn right onto Aramingo Avenue, turn right onto Adams Avenue, and turn right onto the ramp to I-95 South.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes or allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
