5/10/26 – Bensalem Township
A 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, at approximately 6:35 p.m., traveled in the center lane adjacent to Unit 1 (undocumented driver and vehicle) in the left lane. Unit 1 swerved into the middle lane striking the Jeep’s front driver’s side wheel well area. After impact, Unit 1 fled the scene northbound. The Jeep followed Unit 1 until exit 3, where it got off and traveled home. PSP responded to the Jeep’s driver’s address where police observed the physical evidence. At approximately 7 p.m., police interviewed the driver who said she was driving in the center lane when Unit 1 drove into her lane striking her. She said she followed the vehicle who failed to stop. She further explained that she was able to take pictures of Unit 1 but due to the weather conditions as well as Unit 1 traveling at such a high rate of speed the pictures were unable to obtain any identifying information. No injuries were observed or reported.
