  • Driveways for employees and van delivery traffic will be developed upon separate paths providing for safe traffic movement throughout the facility ]
  • A storm water basin will be installed and landscaping around the perimeter of the site will be completed.

Amazon has agreed to make “substantial” roadwork improvements in and around the distribution facility to address traffic flow concerns of residents living nearby. Amazon representatives said they are awaiting approvals from Penn DOT and once they come through, traffic flow improvements can commence.

The massive 235,240 square foot warehouse created 315 new jobs, with a 100 of those positions in the fulfillment center and the remaining 215 positions for delivery drivers and management, a company spokesperson told council members in September of 2020, prior to its launching this past Spring.
