Amish Market to add Retail Space as part of Approved Redevelopment Plan

The Bristol Amish Market will be adding additional store space with a redevelopment plan approved last week by council.
Space currently under the roof overhang will be developed as additional store space for the popular market located on Green Lane and Rt 13.
A spokesperson for the market said a vestibule would be created for the additional retail space, but the look of the new features would be consistent with the current look of the outlet.
The plan also calls for two new outdoor freezers to be placed in the northern section of the property, an updating of ADA compliant parking with restriping of the area to be completed. The restriping will also include adding of an additional pathway on the property for delivery flow of frozen meats for example with an additional loading and unloading area will also to be developed on the property also.
A sidewalk on Green Lane leading up the entry/exit way to the market and wrapping around the boundary of the property to Hunter Lane will be installed with some additional landscaping work too to improve the overall look of the marketplace is part of the plan also.
The borough required $13,000.00 fee for the 5 foot in width and 4 inches in height sidewalk installation.
No timetable for when the work will be beginning was provided.
The “minor” improvements were approved by council unanimously.
