Bristol Borough Police released a photo image of a “person of interest” they are seeking information about connected to Tuesday evenings shooting incident on Wood Street in which a group of people were targeted with gunfire.
Police found and impounded the vehicle, a cream colored SUV, used in the shooting also, but did not say where or when the vehicle was located.
Tuesday’s shooting took place just one block away from police headquarters.
Investigators said at the time of the incident a residence was struck by gunfire but did not elaborate on any specific damages incurred or how many bullets struck the home on the quiet tree lined residential street.
Additionally, the shooting suspect dropped personal items on the street when re-entering his vehicle, which police collected as evidence, according to multiple witnesses on the scene.
A Wood St resident posted security surveillance footage from the front of their residence showing a part of the incident. victims end o The footage shows the suspects vehicle passing the group, and seconds later the group scattering to take cover as the suspect took aim at the group, which police said included a nine-year old child.
Police say they are continuing to analyze video footage and interview witnesses as the investigation is continuing with no arrest made as of Saturday morning.
